Let me tell you, I loves burning me some books. In fact, I have an English degree from university, and the whole time during class when we talked about a book we were studying, I would sit in the back and quietly whisper "Let's burn it! Burn it. burn it."

That said, here is a list of "Ten Most Harmful Books of the 19th and 20th Centuries." An excerpt:

"Das Kapital forces the round peg of capitalism into the square hole of Marx's materialistic theory of history, portraying capitalism as an ugly phase in the development of human society in which capitalists inevitably and amorally exploit labor by paying the cheapest possible wages to earn the greatest possible profits."

I agree 100% with this book ban. Bosses paying their workers an exploitive wage for poor jobs in order to keep more money for themselves? That'll be the day.

"...he could not have predicted 21st Century America: a free, affluent society based on capitalism and representative government that people the world over envy and seek to emulate."

How true! Now lets go find us some poor people (although, honestly, I wouldn't know where to find any!) and tell them that.

But first, I have to go and deficate in my brand new diamond-studed plutonium toilet and wipe my ass with gold leaf toilet paper.
