Chubby Girl Melts into Couch and Dies

This story of a morbidly obese woman dying on a couch somewhat troubles me, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is that makes me feel uncomfortable...
"After years of staying put, her skin had literally become one with the sofa and had to be surgically removed.
She died at Martin Memorial Hospital South, still attached to the couch."
Oh. Right.

i was disgusted when i read this. Til i remember i work at a hospital and the guy in bed 38 needs 8 people to move him.
