I signed Rocketpack up for Google's AdSense program, which is a service that puts ads on your site that are targeted to your readership. Ok, so I know ads are a bit of a pain, but I was vainly hoping (in much the same way women in bars vainly hope that I don't approach them) that I might be able to use it to help pay for the hosting costs of the site.

Interestingly, the first "targeted ad" Google served up for Rocketpack was to a place called "workforjesus.com".

Targeted my ass. But who knows? Perhaps this is Google's way of telling us that readers will need to find Jesus after reading a typical Rocketpack article.
